Brainspark Games is an innovative game development company specialising in creating captivating and immersive gaming experiences for children in education. We were incredibly excited to create this colorful and interactive site for this brilliant start-up.

We were excited to create a Squarespace website that reflects and showcases Brainspark’s diverse range of educational games that combine intricate storytelling with engaging gameplay for children.

Squarespace Website Design Goals
The aim of the site was to demonstrate and display professionally all the fantastic divisions of Brainspark to help them obtain investment. The site needed to tell a clear and concise story of Brainspark’s journey show their potential for the future.
We also wanted to add fun elements in to the site that mirrored Brainspark’s “Fun in Discovery” message; you can see this not only in their colourful branding but also in all the interactions and pixelated nods to gaming we incorporated.
Story Telling in Flexible Website Design
With this Squarespace site we didn’t have one definitive call to action or a singular conversion metric; the goal of the site was to tell the story of Brainspark whilst allowing for easy navigation to get to where you want to be, whether that be parents wanting to learn about their holiday camps, investors looking for credentials or children looking to download the game to play!
The site has a clear concise architecture to guide visitors through the material, breaking it up into digestible sections with options to tail off into other parts of the Brainspark story.
Along the journey, all the sections are uniquely designed to add different layers to the site, along with interactivity to mimic the Brainspark Games’ learning style.
Start-Up Website Design
Getting the balance of playful and corporate correct was vital in this project. Too childish and the investors would be put off, too adult and the parents might not understand Brainsparks concept.
By using a mixture of interactive hover elements, and tasteful nods to the gaming industry, we created a well-rounded site that spoke to all the potential personas of the site in the correct visual language. Whether the visitor was a corporate investor, a parent or a child.
Bespoke Squarespace Training
We teach all of our clients how to use and update their website with our bespoke video training at the end of the project, all of our clients say how easy it is for them to update their website after the training.
We also offer Squarespace maintenance packages for those who need additional help or are too busy wearing all of the other business-owner hats.
