Studio 77: Six years in business
It's our studio's sixth birthday today! I can't believe I've been running Studio 77 for six years. What an incredible journey it's been and still is, and I'm so thankful for all of our wonderful clients and my fantastic team who help keep the dream alive every day.
“So many incredible changes have happened in the last twelve months.”
So many incredible changes have happened in the last twelve months. Not only have we hired a fantastic assistant to help us with our workload, but we've moved! Quite a lot, actually…
Studio 77 has always been a remote operation, working from our home office or a co-working space in London. Still, this year our co-working spaces have been based in warmer climates, from Mexico City to Indonesia to Thailand.
When I started Studio 77, the pipedream was always to go and travel the world with my laptop whilst designing brands and websites.
I suppose I never really thought it would happen, just one of those pie-in-the-sky dreams that seemed like a distant reality, but here I am, sitting in a cafe in Phuket, Thailand, on a stupidly hot Thursday, writing about how that idea became a reality.
And I think that's what my 'superpower' is: taking ideas and turning them into reality. Whether it be transforming a client's vision into a fully realised brand or changing thoughts into real-life living experiences, like working remotely from the other side of the world.
Over the last six years, Studio 77 has become so much more than just a business, it's become a place where our clients come for advice, ideas and fun conversations, and it's become an enabler to allow me to live my dream life. And I'm so incredibly grateful to be able to do this with my husband, Will (our Senior Developer at Studio 77) by my side.
Studio 77 is still young in the grand scheme of things, but we've achieved a lot in the last six years. I'm excited to see what exciting things we do in our sixth year of business.
Thanks again to all our clients for trusting us to transform their ideas into reality.
And never forget…
Everything starts as an idea.
So don't belittle those 'silly little' shower thoughts or morning walk reflections. They could be the start of something very exciting!
